CAMS Coordinator Spotlight: Doug Holt

Doug Holt is a 1976 graduate of Lee University (Lee College) with a B.S. in Christian Education. He has attended several “J” terms to further his education, and has been in the ministry as a staff member and lead pastor since graduating in 1976. He presently serves as lead pastor of the Paris Church of God, where has served in that capacity for the past 16 years. He has been married to his lovely wife, Sandra Kay Taylor Holt, for 40 years; and they have two wonderful children serving the Lord, along with their spouses and children. Their daughter, Amber Winters, and her husband, Robbie,  live in Cleveland, Tennessee, where they both serve the school districts as administrators. They have three “perfect” children-Lilly, 9; Luke, 6; and Holt, 6. Their son, Chace Holt, and his wife, Kaylie, live in Powderly, Texas, where he serves as the TI officer at a local bank and is on staff at the church part-time. His wife is a cosmetologist. They, too, have two “perfect: children–Lincoln, 2 and Gibson, 3 months. Reverend Doug Holt presently serves on the State Council and serves as the CAMS director for the State of Texas. However, he says his most important jobs are: husband, dad, “poppy,” and pastor.
